Video Pitch - UltraVision Commercial - Jana Bomans

The rationale behind choosing Ultra Vision as the subject for this video was to further explore the visual components of a company media kit, and experiment with how the already prepared written components (mission and bio) would translate into a visual representation within the environment of Cascadia. Ultra Vision uses advanced technology to provide UBA and UVB eye protection through their contact lenses which is needed since Cascadia exists in a state of advanced global warming and decreased ozone layer. The video presents itself as a commercial for Ultra Visions product but instead of taking a sale’s driven approach, its focus is conveying the brand values and personality to the audience. Even though Ultra Vision is a driver of technology within the eyewear industry and important information is narrated throughout, the concept was meant to better reflect the interpretational nature of a perfume commercial instead of a traditional contact lens of glasses commercial.
